SUBJ: Golf Course and Lawn Care, Turfgrass and Athletic Field Management  

The 2005 Northeastern Pennsylvania Turf Conference and Trade Show will be held Thursday, January 27 at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, Wilkes-Barre.

Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council (PTC), the conference features speakers who are the industry’s top experts to highlight innovations and the latest research in turfgrass management. Pesticide update training required for certified pesticide applicator license renewal will be awarded for attendance at specified educational sessions. Registrants can also attend a trade show featuring suppliers to the industry.

Registration will open at 8:00 a.m., and the morning’s concurrent sessions on topics of general interest to the industry will begin at 9:30 a.m.  The afternoon features a specialized golf course session in addition to another general session. The conference is scheduled to conclude at 3:15 p.m.
